Collaborations with The Anderson, a gallery in Richmond, VA.

Exhibition and promotional design for Speculative History→Design, an exhibition featuring the work of six fashion design students on view at VCUarts Qatar.

The visual identity was developed with a focus on highlighting the diverse garments while having an overarching show identity. Given the themes of the show, the arrow motif was developed to enhance it's message while acting as a visual connection throughout. Each wall vinyl design corresponds with the respective artist, utilizing their provided garment flats enlarged to an abstract level.

Progression of the Speculative History→Design title. The first 4 iterations are all uppercase, typeset in a thin sans-serif. The arrow is straight in the first draft, wavy in the second, and looping over itself in the third. The final version of the logo has a staircase form, with 'Speculative History' on the top left, with a tall looping arrow pointing towards the word 'Design' on the bottom right. The arrow is of varying thickness, and the type is a bolder sans-serif with some of the letters looking like half-filled in outlines.

Promotional posters created for The Anderson's annual summer studio residency program.

Inspired both by the idea of stars and a physical space, this poster seeks to incoporate both elements with a pixel star bouncing off the poster edges and text. Design modified slightly in order to create a digital banner to accompany the more traditional poster.
